Welcome to the St Stithians College Digital Archive. We hope that you will enjoy taking a walk down memory lane to rediscover your school-days and much more.
The St Stithians Archive is a digital repository that contains the historical records of the College dating back to the formation of the Trust in 1941. These records reflect in documents, artefacts, images and recordings the multiple pathways that the College and its alumni, staff, parents and wider community have trodden since the vision of the founders was first conceived. Further, the archive provides links to the local and Cornish roots of the unique environment entrusted to the College. The archive works closely with the local heritage association in order for both the College and the wider community to draw mutual value from the association.
The archive is conceived as a “living history” asset. To this end, a Heritage Centre is in planning during 2018. This facility will serve the whole Saints community and be accessible online as well as in the identified venue close to the Chapel.
The digital archive provides access to St Stithians’ records in digital format. It currently includes the magazines of all the campus schools and some of the early photographs. It is a work in progress: as digitised photographs and documents are prepared for publication, they will be made available in batches.
